How to install Skype for business / Lync in Linux (Using Pidgin+SIPE)

there is no native skype for business client in linux. but, we can use an alternative apps to connect to S4B and Lync. I use Elementary OS in this tutorial, it should also work with Ubuntu since they are practically the same distro. if you need help on another OS, ping me up and i will try my best to help lets get started:- 1- install pidgin with sipe via command line. the -y is to automatically press y when prompted. sudo apt-get install pidgin pidgin-sipe 2- Now, go to your application start menu. you will see pidgin icon there. click on it. 3- Open your pidgin. u will be greet with several prompt. click on "Add". 4- Now, insert your username. usualy it was <username>@<companydomain>.com. 5- Go to advance setting. put into "User Agent" below code. One of my passion is pc building. the most satisfying feeling is when the PC i build successfully boot. On this series of blog, i will do some reviews on graphic cards, motherboard, RAM, and other PC parts that i have laying around. Today, it will be NVIDIA Geforce GT730 by ASUS. got it on Plaza Alam Sentral for around RM300+- a piece. while on lelong i see the price is cheaper around RM280-RM300 here . Specification of the graphic card can be seen here . Advantage of the graphic card. Fan doest make noise, even with stress test the noise is quiet. Runs low-medium settings game fairly. How to clear mail log on FreeBSD

To clear log, there is several ways that can be done. 1st : /var/log/mail.log Below is the command where we will use cat to overwrite log with null value. cat /dev/null > /path/to/logfile How to clear all log in one directory.
